Cameroon to meet Ghana in ANC semis
Cameroon scored a goal in extra time to send them through to the African Nations Cup semi-finals at the expense of Tunisia. The 3-2 win means the Indomitable Lions will face the host nation, Ghana, in the last four. Earlier on Monday defending champions Egypt defeated a spirited Angola team 2-1.

Ghana 2-1 Nigeria
Ghana have reached the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations as Nottingham Forest's Junior Agogo scored a late winner as the hosts ten men beat Nigeria 2-1 in Accra. Nigeria had gone in front through Everton striker Yakubu, but Chelsea's Michael Essien equalised before their captain, John Mensah, was sent off.

Essien stars as hosts Ghana advance to quarter-finals of African Nations
Michael Essien proved his class as he powered the home nation, Ghana, to the quarter-finals of the African Nations cup with a goal and an assist in the 2-0 win over Morocco. In the other game in Group A, Guinea's 1-1 draw with Namibia was enough to see them through to the last eight.

African Cup of Nations: Ghana gain fortunate win
Ghana toiled to an unimpressive 1-0 victory over Namibia after a poor performance in Accra. The hosts were fortunate to clinch all three points in a dire game, but Junior Agogo's first ever goal in the African Cup of Nations was enough to give the hosts the win they so badly craved.

Ghana coach unhappy despite victory
Ghana coach Claude Le Roy was livid at his team profligacy and the state of the playing surface in the opening match of the African Nations, despite his side's 2-1 victory over Guinea in group A. Portsmouth's Sulley Muntari scored a late wonder goal to propel the home nation Ghana to victory in Accra.

Appiah ruled out of African Cup of Nations
Stephen Appiah has been ruled out of the African Cup of Nations after suffering complications to a long-term knee problem. The Ghana captain, who plays his club football for Turkish side Fenerbahce, is expected to miss the next two months of the season.
