Aberdeen closing in on Foran
Aberdeen are poised to sign Southend midfielder Ritchie Foran after agreeing a deal with the Essex club. Foran, who signed for the League One side for £200,000 in January 2007, has failed to settle at Roots Hall and is keen to move back to Scotland where he enjoyed a successful spell with Motherwell.

Calderwood delighted with Aberdeen's progress
Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood has called his side's 4-0 UEFA Cup victory over FC Copenhagen his best night in football. Calderwood's team went into the tie knowing that they had to win to progress to the last 32 and knock out their opponents in the process.
