Arsenal lower Adebayor asking price - agent
Arsenal have backed down on their valuation of Emmanuel Adebayor and are now prepared to sell the Togolese striker for just over half the initial amount of £35m that was quoted to interested parties, according to an agent working for Italian club AC Milan. The 24-year-old's wage demands are said to be forcing him out of the London club.

AC Milan have ruled themselves out of the race for Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, claiming the club's valuation of the Togolese is 'impossible' for them to meet. Adebayor has made it clear he would welcome a move to either Spain or Italy, and Barcelona now appear in pole position to sign the former Monaco hitman.

AC Milan in pole position to sign Ronaldinho - agent
Chelsea and Manchester City's hopes of signing Ronaldinho have been dealt a blow after the Brazilian's agent insisted that AC Milan are the only club to have shown an interest in the former World Player of the Year. Ronaldinho is certain to leave Barcelona this summer after a poor season last term.

Gilardino joins Fiorentina
Alberto Gilardino has brought an end to his frustrating time at AC Milan by signing for Serie A rivals Fiorentina. The 25-year-old, who was left out of Italy's Euro 2008 squad, scored just seven league goals last season and was frozen out of the first-team after the emergence of young Brazilian star Alexandre Pato.

Arsenal confirm Flamini departure
Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini will join Italian side AC Milan on a free transfer, the London-based club have officially confirmed. The news was widely expected as Frenchman Flamini was out of contract from July 1, and the Italian side had already stated they would sign the player.
