Commons proud to be at Pride Park
Winger Kris Commons has no regrets over moving from Nottingham Forest to local rivals Derby County - the first player since Gary Charles in 1993 to do so. The 24-year-old, who helped Forest gain promotion to the Championship last season, is delighted to have signed for Paul Jewell's team, who were relegated from the Premier League.

Derby complete double swoop
Derby boss Paul Jewell has completed the double signing of Watford pair Nathan Ellington and Jordan Stewart.Ellington, who will join initially on a year-long loan deal, will sign a permanent deal with the club at the end of next season after his current contract expires.

Earnshaw makes Forest switch
Robert Earnshaw has finally brought his Derby County nightmare to an end by completing a £2.65m move to Nottingham Forest. The Wales striker, who has signed a three-year deal with the Championship club, scored just one goal in the Premier League as Derby were relegated.

Savage: I want Brum to go down
Robbie Savage has urged former team-mate David Dunn to fire Blackburn to victory on Sunday and send Birmingham back to the Championship. Savage, who now plays for already relegated Derby, fell out with Birmingham after leaving St Andrews in 2005 to join Blackburn and the former Wales man insists he would love to see the Midlands club relegated.

Jewell set to bid for Watford duo
Paul Jewell is set to launch a summer raid for Watford's Nathan Ellington and Jordan Stewart as he looks to take Derby back to the top flight at the first attempt. Ellington, the subject of a failed transfer bid from Derby earlier this season, could leave Vicarage Road after failing to make an impact since August's £3.25m move from West Brom.

Jewell pulls no punches after Derby's record defeat
Paul Jewell pulled no punches after seeing his Derby side lose their 28th game of the season, despite going a goal ahead. Kenny Miller put the Rams into the lead, but goals from Roque Santa Cruz (2) and Jason Roberts ensured that Jewell's men once again failed to pick up any Premier League points.

Paul Jewell is still looking for his first win as Derby boss despite going a goal ahead at Ewood Park. Kenny Miller fired the Rams in front before Roque Santa Cruz (2) and Jason Roberts gave Blackburn a 3-1 win and left Jewell without a win in 26 games.

Derby could set record lows this weekend
If Derby County lose at Blackburn Rovers this Saturday, they will be guaranteed the top flight record for the lowest number of points in a season lasting at least 38 matches. This was set two seasons ago by Sunderland.
