Switzerland boss Kobi Kuhn has urged his side to bow out of Euro 2008 in style by inflicting a famous defeat on Group A leaders Portugal. Switzerland, who can not qualify for the last eight, host Luiz Felipe Scolari's men in Basel on Sunday with the Portuguese already having sealed their place in the quarter-finals.

Kuhn: I could have played it safe but party goes on
Switzerland coach Kobi Kuhn admitted he considered playing for a draw moments before Turkey sealed his side's exit from Euro 2008 - but has vowed the party will go on without the co-hosts. Arda Turan scored in injury time to seal the Swiss team's exit as they became the first team to be knocked out of their own tournament.

Switzerland crashed out of their own European Championship Finals after Arda Turan struck deep into stoppage time to break Swiss hearts.The young midfielder fired home a spectacular late strike to bring down the curtain on Kobe Kuhn's reign as manager and leave the Turks facing a winner-takes-all clash against the Czech Republic on Sunday.

Senderos: No repeat of Turkey violence from 2005
Philippe Senderos has vowed there will be no repeat of the disgraceful scenes of 2005 when bitter rivals Switzerland and Turkey meet for a revenge match in Euro 2008 tonight. FIFA launched one of the biggest disciplinary investigations in its history after the two teams last met in a World Cup play-off match in Istanbul.
