Natagora romps home to victory in 1000 Guineas
Natagora lived up to the tag of 1000 Guineas favourite at Newmarket, romping to victory half-a-length ahead of Spacious, with Saoirse Abu finishing third. The 11-4 favourite, trained in France by Pascal Bary and ridden by Christophe Lemaire, was out of the stalls sharply to set the pace, and dictated the tempo from start to finish.

Henrythenavigator came out of the pack to shock favourite New Approach and take the 2,000 Guineas, the first Classic of the flat season at Newmarket today. Johnny Murtagh piloted the 11-1 shot to victory to give trainer Aidan O'Brien the fifth 2,000 Guineas of his remarkable career and send the bookies away happy.
