James Lowes has revealed he turned down the Wakefield head coach job in the run-up to what he hopes will be revenge for his Warrington Wolves side. Wolves and Wakefield are neck a neck on 20 points apiece in Super League, with Warrington one place above on points scored.

Anderson confident Saints will go marching on
St Helens coach Daniel Anderson is confident his side will avoid any dips in form between now and the end of the Super League season. Saints play Harlequins this weekend looking for the 13th consecutive victory in all competitions and Anderson says he cannot see his side faltering as they aim for the Super League title.

Warrington Wolves' Paul Rauhihi believes now is the time for his side to hit top gear as the Super League enters its decisive period. Wolves are currently sixth in the table, having won three of James Lowes' first four games in charge, but their season has been dogged with inconsistency.

Hicks not ready to forgive and forget
Chris Hicks has still not forgiven a section of Warrington Wolves fans who abused him after the recent Catalans loss. Australian import Hicks has branded the fans "fools" and says they should "go and watch someone else."

Skandalis out for rest of Giants' season
John Skandalis, Huddersfield Giants' veteran forwardis expected to miss the remainder of the Super League season after having to undergo surgery on his knee, which he injured in training. The 32-year-old former Wests Tigers prop joins fellow front rower Eorl Crabtree on the sidelines.
