Hamilton storms to pole position
Lewis Hamilton took a major step to winning the Formula One title in his rookie season after securing pole position for Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix.The 22-year-old finished ahead of the Ferrari's of Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa with team-mate Fernando Alonso way back in fourth.

Hamilton cleared by FIA
Lewis Hamilton has escaped punishment for his role in Sebastian Vettel's crash with Mark Webber at the Japanese Grand Prix last week. The world championship leader had been under investigation for erratic driving behind the safety car that, it was alleged, contributed to the collision.

Button blasts Honda
Jenson Button has blasted his Honda team by saying they have gone backwards. The British driver has endured a difficult season and is currently 16th in the drivers' championship with only two points - a whopping 105 behind leader Lewis Hamilton. Button has finished eighth on two occasions and says it is all down to the poor performance of his car.
