Jol to take charge of Hamburg
Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol will take charge at German side Hamburg, it has been announced. The Dutchman left White Hart Lane last October after three years in charge and has been out of work ever since, but will take charge of the Bundesliga club next season.

Jol to take over at Hamburg
Martin Jol will take over as the manager of Hamburg at the end of the season when current coach Huub Stevens leaves the club. The former Spurs boss, 52, will sign a two-year deal and work alongside Zeljko Petrovic, who is currently in charge of Jupiler League side RKC Waalwijk.

Kuranyi fires Schalke to victory
Kevin Kuranyi scored a 22 minute hat-trick, the fastest in the league this season, to give Schalke a comprehensive 5-0 win over Energie Cottbus.The Germany international, who scored four goals on the night, is the first player to score four times in a Bundesliga match since Martin Petrov's efforts for Wolfsburg against Mainz in October 2004.

Bayern thrash Dortmund

Kahn closes in on Bundesliga record
Bayern Münich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn could become the joint-third most experienced player at the top level in German football when he makes his 552nd appearance this weekend in the Bundesliga against FC Nürnberg. Kahn is already the most experienced goalkeeper, after surpassing Eike Immel's 534 games earlier this season.

Diego going no where insists Werder Bremen chairman
Brazilian playmaker Diego will not be moving to the Premier League or to La Liga, according to the chairman of his club, Werder Bremen. The former Santos player moved to Portobut failed to bloom in his two years in Portugal. In Germany he has improved and is turning in performances that have caught the eye of Europe's top clubs' scouts.
