Keane: Sunderland should be inspired by Portsmouth's success
Sunderland manager Roy Keane has told his players they should be inspired by Portsmouth's FA Cup success and he will target both the FA and Carling Cups next season. Sunderland have not won a cup game since January 2006, having gone out at the first hurdle on the last five occasions in both competitions.

Odejayi makes Barnsley plea
Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi has pleaded with manager Simon Davey to give him another chance after his shocking semi-final miss destroyed their FA Cup dreams. Odejayi was clean through with 24 minutes left against Cardiff at Wembley but fired embarrassingly wide and Barnsley did not get another chance to equalise.

Ledley aiming for the top
Cardiff City FA Cup hero Joe Ledley has admitted he is hoping his semi-final display will earn him a move to the Premier League. The 21-year-old scored the only goal in Sunday's 1-0 win over Barnsley at Wembley with a great volley after only nine minutes.

Odejayi: I apologised to team-mates after Wembley heartbreak
Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi has revealed he apologised to his team-mates after his side's 1-0 FA Cup semi-final defeat to Cardiff at Wembley. The striker was put clean through in the 66th minute of the clash but fluffed his chance, only hitting the side netting.
