AZ out in Dutch cup shock
Cambuur Leeuwarden have eliminated AZ in the biggest upset in the Dutch Cup/KNVB Beker first round. Cambuur, from the Dutch First Division, won the match 1-0 thanks to an 81st minute winner by Rachid el Khalifi.
AZ were in control for most of the match, but they were unable to create any clear chances, although Maarten Martens missed a penalty in the 60th minute.
AZ's woes were compounded when they lost Graziano Pellè to injury, but the final scoreline could have been even worse as Cambuur's Adnan Barakats hit the post late on.
