Juan rejects Roma fears
Roma defender Juan insists they are going back to Old Trafford without any fear and are determined to make amends for their crushing defeat in the Champions League last season. United recorded one of their best-ever performances in the European Cup when they cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Italian side.
But Brazilian defender Juan is confident his side will put up a much better showing this time and can build on their opening victory over Dinamo Kiev.
He said: "We cannot forget the defeat against United and a 7-1 scoreline remained in our minds for a long time.
"But we have won our opening game and it gives us a lot of confidence as we go into the next game against United.
"Nobody wants to speak about getting revenge, but the players want to show that we can do a lot better.
"For us to get a point would be a good result for us. We will go there with a lot of optimism and without any fear because we know we can hurt them.
"We have seen Manchester United in action and they have improved in the opening games of the season. They have got a lot better with their key players back in the side.
"We are not obsessed with Cristiano Ronaldo, although the Portuguese is one of the best players in the game at the moment. United have a number of players who can change the game in a second."
