Collingwood ready for England
England's chances of claiming their first ever one-day series win in Sri Lanka have received a major boost after skipper Paul Collingwood was passed fit for the fourth ODI in Dambulla on Wednesday. The Durham star had been a doubt after suffering bruising to the bone in his right shoulder but will be available after undergoing a precautionary scan.
Collingwood was taken to hospital in Colombo after incurring the injury while attempting to catch Mahela Jaywardene's effort during England's opening match defeat in Dambulla.
But after taking part in training and leading his side to victory in the past two matches, Collingwood looks set to continue with both bat and ball.
England have not won a one-day series since their triumph in Pakistan in 1986-87, but can clinch victory should they triumph in one of their last two games.
It represents a magnificent turnaround in fortunes for an England team that was thrashed 5-0 by Sri Lanka when they two teams met in the 2006 NatWest Series.
But the form of the England bowlers have given the tourists a huge chance of success, with the return of Graeme Swann proving an inspired selection.
The Nottinghamshire man has kept Monty Panesar out the team thanks to some impressive spells of bowling and sent Sri Lanka into a spin during England's two-wicket win on Sunday after taking 4-34.
And Panesar is likely to miss out again in favour of Swann with England likely to name an unchanged line-up after winning their past two matches.
