Late sting in the tail as Wasps beat Munster

Defending champions Wasps came from 10 points down to edge out 2006 victors Munster in the Heineken Cup's game of the day at the Ricoh Arena. The boot of 20-year-old full-back Danny Cipriani slotted four penalties and a conversion to accompany tries by Riki Flutey and George Skivington.

For the Irish side, Rua Tipoki and Shaun Payne's tries were converted by Munster fly-half Ronan O'Gara, but second-row Skivington's late try turned the tables for the London side.

Gloucester tipped more woe on the Irish by beating Ulster 32-14 at Ravenhill, with 21-year-old fly-half Ryan Lamb winning the man-of-the-match award having scored 16 points - a try, two conversions and two penalties.

There was some good for the Irish, however, as Leinster beat Leicester thanks to a Shane Hogan try and Felipe Contepomi's 17 kicked points.

In the other games Toulouse defeated Edinburgh at Murrayfield 19-15; Stade Francais swept aside Harlequins 37-17; and London Irish thrashed Italian side Treviso 42-9.

Percy Montgomery's new club Perpignan defeated the Dragons 23-19, and the Ospreys beat Bougoin 22-15.
