McClaren sacked
Steve McClaren has been sacked as England manager following an emergency board meeting at FA Headquarters on Thursday morning. The dismissal follows England's defeat to Croatia at Wembley on Wednesday and failure to qualify for the European Championships in Austria and Switzerland next summer.
