Nouzaret hails Guinea after victory
Guinea coach Robert Nouzaret hailed his team's spirit and determination after their impressive 3-2 victory over Morocco on Thursday.Guinea, who had two-goal hero Pascal Feindouno sent off in the second-half, outplayed their opponents for the majority of the game to clinch their first win of the tournament.
Guinea lost their opening game to a last minute strike from Ghana's Sulley Muntari as the hosts recorded a fortunate 2-1 victory.
And Nouzaret was delighted with the way his side fought back from the disappointment of defeat to see off a much fancied Morocco side.
"After our defeat by Ghana I was waiting for a reaction on the technical, physical and mental front," Nouzaret told the BBC.
"It's not easy when you have to win. We played better than our opening game."
Morocco coach Henri Michel was left disappointed with his team's inability to defend and claims they will have to make major improvements if they are to beat Ghana in their final group game.
"We gave away too many presents," said Michel.
"There was no Moroccan presence at the near post when they scored with the free-kick, then we gave away a penalty.
"We've got to produce something special now against Ghana if we are to continue."
