Benzema ruled out for France
Lyon striker Karim Benzema has been ruled out of France's friendly clash with England in Paris on Wednesday. Benzema, who has been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United, was forced to limp off after 35 minutes of his side's 4-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.
Benzema suffered a sprained knee and is expected to be out of action for two weeks with Juventus striker David Trezeguet taking his place in Raymond Domenech's squad.
Arsenal's Bacary Sagna has also withdrawn from the squad after sustaining a leg injury during the 2-1 defeat by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Domenech has called up Lyon's Anthony Reveillere in place of Sagna, while injured Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastein Frey is replaced by OGN Nice 'keeper Hugo Lloris.
