Woods could quit boxing
Clinton Woods admits he could quit boxing after suffering a painful defeat against Antonio Tarver in Tampa. Woods, who loses his IBF light-heavyweight title, had hoped to face Joe Calzaghe had he been victorious but was outpointed by his 39-year-old opponent.
Tarver won 116-112, 117-111, 119-109 despite struggling to cope with the physical aspect of the bout with his questionable fitness obvious for all to see.
But the Briton was unable to make the most of his opportunity and could now decide to retire from the ring.
"I fought the best light-heavyweight in the world," the 35-year-old told the BBC.
"I'm happy with my career but I don't know if I'll stop. I've done everything I wanted to do... maybe I have something left.
"I'll go home, see my wife and play with my kids and make the decision [on my future]," he added.

When you are a boxer for a long period of time, and continue to give your all night after night...it just gets especially difficult to keep doing it over and over again. Sometimes, you just need to know when to call it a day and move on to the next challenge in life.
