Bayern thrash Dortmund

Bayern Munich moved ten points clear at the top of the Bundesliga as they closed in on a 21st league title with a 5-0 win over Borussia Dortmund. The Uefa Cup semi-finalists took just 22 minutes to move into an unassailable four-goal lead against a shambolic Dortmund side.

Germany international Lukas Podolski fired Bayern ahead after just three minutes with a stunning 20-yard finish, before Philipp Lahm played in Ze Roberto to double Bayern's lead just eight minutes later.

Luca Toni, who scored twice against Getafe in the Uefa Cup in midweek, scored another couple to take his total to 31 for the season.

The Italy star scored twice in four minutes after connecting with Ze Roberto's free kicks, before Andreas Ottl hit the fifth on 72.

With just six games remaining, Bayern are now ten points clear, while they also still have their eye on the Uefa and German Cups.
