Ferguson bemoans United's wastefulness
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson admitted his side gave the ball away too easily in their 0-0 draw against Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Cristiano Ronaldo missed an early penalty but United rarely threatened after that as the hosts enjoyed the majority of possession in what Ferguson called a 'professional' United performance.
And Ferguson acknowledged he was disappointed his side didn't impose themselves more on the game, revealing Paul Scholes was the only player he felt didn't waste possession.
"The word professional would suit us tonight," said Ferguson.
"I thought Scholes was one of our best players in that his reading of the game and interceptions were marvellous - and he was the only player on our team who didn't give the ball away.
"The way Barcelona play they always have an extra man in midfield so possession is always going to be theirs, but at Old Trafford we will be better at that."
He continued: "We didn't let them create many chances so in terms of our defending we were professional.
"But we should have done better in attack - we gave the ball away too easily - but in the context of the semi-final we have a fantastic chance."

Well, that was definitely some game to watch! Too bad the whole thing had to just end in a draw, with little ground gained on either side :( Hopefully next game ends on a more high note, with an actual WINNER this time!
