Mansfield relegated from the Football League
Mansfield have been relegated from the Football League after Chester drew 0-0 with Stockport. The Stags' 1-0 defeat to Rotherham on Saturday meant that Simon Davies' Chester needed to get just one point from their last two games to survive in Coca-Cola League Two.
They secured that as Tuesday's clash at the Deva Stadium ended in stalemate, and that in turn ended Mansfield's 77-year stay in the league.

As tough as it is for them now, someone has to go down for someone else to come up. There have been many teams who come back fighting after relegation, all the stronger than they were before-they can hope for that.
