O'Sullivan thrashes hapless Hendry
Ronnie O'Sullivan completed a 17-6 annihilation of Steven Hendry to advance to the final of the World Snooker Championship. The seven-time winner had no answer to O'Sullivan's astonishing break building with the world number one winning with a session to spare.
O'Sullivan had led 12-4 going into theevening session after winning all eight frames of a one-sided morning session.And breaks of 120 and 123 in the evening session saw him sweep to victory.
O'Sullivan will face either Ali Carter or Joe Perry in Sunday's final. Perry currently holds the advantage, leading 9-7 having trailed 5-3 after the first session.
