Garrido stays on course for Spanish Open title
Ignacio Garrido remains three shots ahead at the top of the leaderboard in the Spanish Open, despite only firing a level par 72 in his third round. The Spaniard stays at 15-under-par for the tournament, with compatriot Miguel Angel Jimenez moving into second.
Englishman Mark Foster is four shots behind the leader after carding a 68 in his third round, but Martin Erlandsson slipped down to sixth following a disappointing 73.
Garrido is aiming to become the first player to win the same European Tour event as a father, following dad Antonio's victory back in 1972 - just 19 days after Ignacio was born.
