Jol set to take charge of Hamburg
Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol is set to make a return to the game by taking charge of German side Hamburg. Jol has been out of a job since leaving Tottenham in controversial circumstances back in October.
The Dutch coach became a fans' favourite at White Hart Lane, but his position was always under threat after club officials were spotted making an approach to Juande Ramos.
Jol, 52, is set to replace compatriot Huub Stevens, according to reports in the German press, and is negotiating the terms of a two-year contract with Hamburg.
Stevens announced last November that he was going to coach PSV Eindhoven next season and Hamburg have been looking to replace him with a big name as they look to secure a Champions League place."

We still do not know the circumstances on which he left Tottenham, but Martin Jol has more than proven that he is an excellent coach, and I have every reason to believe that he will do quite well for Hamburg.
