Jewell set to bid for Watford duo
Paul Jewell is set to launch a summer raid for Watford's Nathan Ellington and Jordan Stewart as he looks to take Derby back to the top flight at the first attempt. Ellington, the subject of a failed transfer bid from Derby earlier this season, could leave Vicarage Road after failing to make an impact since August's £3.25m move from West Brom.
The striker has scored just four times for Aidy Boothroyd's side and has managed only one goal in his past 13 appearances, coinciding with the club's dreadful end-of-season form.
And Stewart, who has also been linked with a move to Charlton, could make the move to Pride Park on a free transfer with his current deal scheduled to expire after the play-offs.
The former Leicester City man has played in 39 of Watford's 46 Championship matches this season but did not play in Sunday's final game at Blackpool when the Hornets secured their place in the play-offs.

Well, Derby definitely could use some more top quality players, and Ellington and Stewart would definitely deliver those goods that they so badly need right now. Hopefully for Derby's sake, the deal goes through.
