Witter: I haven't studied Bradley ahead of fight

Junior Witter admits that he has not been spending much time studying Timothy Bradley ahead of their WBC light-welterweight world title showdown on Saturday. Witter will defend his crown against the unbeaten American in Nottingham.

The English fighter is confident he will retain his belt and revealed that he does not worry about reviewing hours and hours of video footage of his opponents before a big fight.

"I'm not studier of boxing," Witter said. "I look at who you are right now. I find a weakness in that and I exploit it.

"I've seen him box. He is aggressive enough. He's got quick hands. He's got decent power. I'm just taking it as it comes.

"I predict an exciting fight. And the champion remaining the champion. I'm going out there and I'm delivering some pain.

"Bradley has done quite well for himself, but he's going to find out on Saturday night that he is in with the champ."

Junior Witter made a grave mistake by not studying Timothy Bradley greater, while he still had time to do so. Now we are fast approaching a bout with the 2, and I think Witter is going to be at a bit of a disadvantage, especially if Bradley was studying HIM.
