Spurs roar back
The San Antonio Spurs roared back into their play-off series against the New Orleans Hornets with a 110-99 win in the Western Conference semi-finals. The defending champions, who trailed 2-0 going into the game, will now hope to level matters on Sunday night after Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili fired them to victory.
Parker and Ginobili scored 31 points each and Duncan added 16 and 13 rebounds to keep their play-off hopes alive.
"We know that going 3-0—it's never been done to come back like that," Ginobili told the American media.
"Today, for us, it was a Game 7. We knew if we didn't win today, it was almost over. So we had a different approach. We played with more passion, more edge."
