Massa takes pole in Turkey
Felipe Massa has given himself a tremendous chance of winning the Turkish Grand Prix for the third consecutive year after claiming pole position at Istanbul Park. The Brazilian clocked a fastest lap of one minute 27.617seconds in his Ferrari to take pole for the third year in a row and set-up a potential hat-trick of victories.
However, there was some joy for McLaren with Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton qualifying in second and third places respectively, while world champion Kimi Raikkonen will start from fourth.
Elsewhere, BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica produced another solid drive to claim fifth place on the grid, while Mark Webber shook off the effects of his crash during Friday's practice session to finish sixth.
