Spurs draw level with New Orleans after convincing win
San Antonio Spurs beat New Orleans Hornets 100-80 to tie their best-of-seven Western Conference semi-final series at 2-2. Tim Duncan scored 22 points and made 15 rebounds, while Tony Parker added 21 points.
Game five will be played on Tuesday in New Orleans, but the Spurs have now ensured there will be a sixth match as well which is scheduled for San Antonio.
Elsewhere in the NBA, Utah Jazz held on for a 123-115 victory at home against LA Lakers to tie their Western Conference semi-final series at 2-2.
Deron Williams scored 29 points and added 14 assists as Jazz recovered from throwing away a 12-point lead in the last four minutes.
