Rampant Wigan cruise past Whitehaven
Trent Barrett claimed a hat-trick as Wigan cruised into the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup after crushing Division One side Whitehaven 106-8 at the JJB Stadium.
Wigan's Sam Tomkins scored five tries on his debut at half-back, including a 12 minute hat-trick , while there were also doubles forHarrison Hansen, Mark Calderwood and Iafeta Paleaaesina.
Pat Richards scored 38 points after kicking 17 goals and running in a try as Wigan set up a last eight clash with Leeds.
