Red Wings close to dimming Stars

Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg were the heroes as Detroit Red Wings blew away Dallas Stars 5-2 on Monday night - propelling them to a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.

In the Red Wings' ninth straight play-off win, Datsyuk scored twice in the first period and again with only two minutes remaining, and Zetterberg added two assists.

If their team can do the business on Wednesday, then they will reach the Cup Final for the fourth time in only 11 years.

"There's a lot of experience in here," center Kris Draper said. "We're not getting caught up in the little things. We have a chance to eliminate a great hockey team. We have to get focused and be ready to play a great game Wednesday night."
