Murray marches on in Hamburg
Andy Murray set up a potential third-round showdown with Rafael Nadal at the Hamburg Masters after he breezed past Gilles Simon of France 6-3 6-3. The British number one gained revenge for his defeat at last year's Rome Masters and was never troubled this time.
A day before his 21st birthday, the world number 14 was clearly in a hurry and quickly established a 4-1 lead in double-quick time and close out the first set shortly after and clinched the match by winning five successive points having slipped to 0-40 at 5-3.
