Gretna relegated two further divisions
Gretna's misery has grown after it was revealed they have been relegated two further division for financial irregularities, and will start next season - if they are still in business - in Division Three. As a result Airdrie have been promoted to the First Division and Stranraer to the Second.
Gretna were relegated from the Scottish Premier League last season but their financial woes have meant they have been forced to lay off all members of staff.
And they have been further punished with the double-relegation, which ensures that the already bleak prospect of a buyer being found have receeded yet further.
