Milan: Ancelotti's going nowhere

AC Milan insist they have no intention of allowing manager Carlo Ancelotti to leave the San Siro this summer and take up the vacant hot-seat at Chelsea. The Italian has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as a replacement for the recently departed Avram Grant, but Milan say they will reject any approach made by the Premier League club.

Roberto Mancini, Luiz Felipe Scolari and Guus Hiddink have all been touted as possible candidates for the job, but Ancelotti appears to be out of the running with Milan club president Adriano Galliani confirming he will not welcome any approach for his manager.

"Ancelotti is very happy at Milan. Milan don't sell their players, let alone the coach," he told Corriere dello Sport.

"It's true that Ancelotti was top of Chelsea's wish list. It's true that the English side have, or had, an eye on two Italian coaches, and one was Ancelotti.

"There are no offers. Ancelotti is Milan coach, and we are going to continue forward together."
