Howard urges Moyes: Sign another goalkeeper
Tim Howard has urged Everton boss David Moyes to make a move for another top-rated keeper during the summer. Moyes is keen to strengthen his squad and needs to bring in an experienced keeper having released Stefan Wessels at the end of last season.
Howard has established himself as Everton's first-choice keeper but is keen to see another big name at Goodison Park.
The USA keeper knows his team will play more games next season because they are in the UEFA Cup and would relish the competition for his place.
Howard said: "Of course I would welcome that. David Moyes is ambitious as a manager and he wants depth and quality.
"We have let Stefan Wessels leave so we need another keeper. I think my standards are very high and whoever comes in, I am always going to push my standards very high.
"It is a welcome challenge and motivates me even further."
