AC Milan: It's Adebayor or nothing
AC Milan have focused all their attention on signing Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor and will not consider another striker during the summer. The Italian giants are determined to land the services of Adebayor who took over the mantle from Thierry Henry last season and was outstanding for the north London club.
AC Milan have also been linked with Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba, but vice-president Adriano Galliani insists they are not looking at another striker and will do everything they can to sign Adebayor.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already made it clear that Adebayor is not for sale by faxing a letter to Milan, but this will not stop the Italian side stepping up their interest in the Togo striker.
Galliani said: "As of today, we currently have a single transfer operation under way, which is the one for Adebayor.
"Arsenal, at the moment, do not want to sell, and I have a letter from them that says they are not ready to negotiate. Anything can happen, but for now we are not authorised to negotiate with the player.
"AC Milan are absolutely clear regarding this premise. Either Adebayor arrives, or we stay as we are. There is no negotiation for Eto'o or Drogba."
