Jokinen the big mover on NHL draft day

Florida Panthers captain Olli Jokinen was the biggest name trade on the NHL draft day, moving to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for defensemen Keith Ballard, Nick Boynton and a draft pick. But there were only 13 trades made as franchises shun blockbuster trades.

Mike Cammalleri left the Los Angeles Kings for the Calgary Flames in exchange for two draft picks, although the Flames let Alex Tanguay go to Montreal.

But there were few moves overall as the franchises decide to play it safe, reasoning that keeping a stable roster is the best way to reach the Stanley Cup Finals.
