Nasri's Arsenal deal not done yet - agent
Arsenal's pursuit of Marseille midfielder Samir Nasri is likely to come to an imminent conclusion, although the player's claims he had already signed for the club have been dismissed by his agent. Nasri, the 21-year-old Frenchman, said yesterday a four-year deal had been completed worth around £12m.
But his agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, has this morning insisted the deal is not finalised as Arsene Wenger looks to kick off his summer spending.
"Nothing has been finalised," Bernes told L'Equipe.
"It is premature to announce this. Discussions are continuing between the two clubs and the player."
Nasri may well be a replacement for Alexander Hleb, with the Belarus winger reportedly set for a move to Barcelona.
