Wenger: Ballack's injury is 'an old Bayern Munich trick'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is convinced Michael Ballack will play in the Euro 2008 Final in Vienna on Sunday despite an announcement that he has a calf injury. Wenger, working in Austria for sponsors Castrol, reckons the story could all be gamesmanship.
He said: "It's an old Bayern Munich trick! But if he was injured would be sad because he also missed a Word Cup Final becauseof a yellow card.
"But in Germany they have good doctors and I'm convinced if there's a way for him to play he will. An injection maybe and he wll play."
