Hughes kicks off City reign in Faroe Islands
Mark Hughes' first competitive game in charge of Manchester City will be at the Vio Margair - EB/Sterymur's ground in the Faroe Islands - on July 17 in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. The former Blackburn manager took charge of the club last month, following the sacking of Sven-Goran Erikkson.
City's home leg of the UEFA Cup tie will be played at Barnsley's Oakwell ground two weeks later.

This year's UEFA Cup final will be played on May 20 at Istanbul's Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium, the home of Turkish side Fenerbahce.
