Hicks not ready to forgive and forget
Chris Hicks has still not forgiven a section of Warrington Wolves fans who abused him after the recent Catalans loss. Australian import Hicks has branded the fans "fools" and says they should "go and watch someone else."
Wolves got hammered by the French side 52-14 a fortnight ago and the squad were abused at the airport on the way back from Perpignan with fans and players having to be separated as things turned ugly.
And speaking ahead of Wolves' game against Wakefield at the Halliwell Jones Stadium this weekend, Hicks said: "The ones who carried on after the Catalans game are fools to be honest.
"Ninety nine per cent are brilliant. You play for yourselves, your team and your fans but those ones that carry on like that, you don't care about.
"If they want to keep on carrying on like that, go and support some other team because we don't want them supporting us."
