Alexander made to wait for West Ham move

Neil Alexander's move to West Ham will be put on hold until the Premier League club resolves the futures of goalkeepers Robert Green and Richard Wright. The Rangers stopper has been linked with a summer switch to Upton Park but will be made to sweat while Hammers boss Alan Curbishley tries to offload Wright to Ipswich.

Ipswich have given West Ham until the end of the week to sanction the deal and Alexander's move to the Premier League looks set to hinge on Wright moving back to Portman Road.

Green has also been linked with a move away from east London with Aston Villa carefully monitoring the player's situation.

And Curbishley, who is under pressure to cut the club's sizeable wage bill, could decide to allow Green to leave with Alexander the leading candidate to replace him.

I think that makes sense here. What were they thinking just going all crazy about it and not having their ducks in a row? I wonder what he really thinks about this (if its a waste of his time or not).

The wait may be making Alexander crazy but we have to remember one thing. Sports may be entertainment to us but it's big business for the owners, coaches and players. They will ultimate do what they fill is best for their bottom line.
