Online gambling hub Mr Green is finally getting a sportsbook, thanks to a recent deal with the Kambi Group. Following a lengthy tenure process, the suits at Mr Green have given the thumbs up to Kambi thanks, in part, to the company's strong financials and flexible software options.
From its base in Sweden, the Kambi Group, which is overseen by four directors, offers white label and custom sports betting solutions for some of the betting industry's biggest players.
Indeed, when Mr Green's sportsbook eventually goes live at some point in the autumn, it will be joining a group of 12 Kambi partners that includes 32Red and 888.
Aside from being among some illustrious company, Mr Green will have the ability to tailor every aspect of Kambi's sports betting package. In fact, according to Kambi's website, it offers flexibility and control "where it counts".
Instead of controlling every aspect of the software, Kambi takes care of the "complex" aspects of running an online sportsbook, such as player profiling, data analysis and the technical aspects of the betting platform itself.
On the other side of the coin, Kambi also offers flexibility when it comes to branding, user experience and, importantly for Mr Green's customers, odds and incentives. Essentially, Kambi will be tucked away in the background making sure everything runs smoothly, while Mr Green's team can concentrate on offering the best bets and bonuses.

This combination will undoubtedly help us to successfully expand into the sports betting vertical in a differentiated way," said Mr Green CEO, Jesper Kärrbrink.
As well as this being Mr Green's first major move in the sports betting world, it's also the first major test for Kärrbrink. Following Bo Wänghammar's re-positioning within the company earlier this year, Kärrbrink was brought in to act as CEO for Mr Green.
Previously the CEO of Euroflorist but formerly an iGaming executive with Svenska Spel in Sweden, Kärrbrink is looking forward to his return to the industry and the new opportunities Mr Green will now have with its sports betting partner.

As yet, the launch date for Mr Green's new sportsbook hasn't been confirmed; however, the board has stated the platform will be live no later than the autumn. Until then, Mr Green will continue to expand is range of online casino games and in-house promotions.
