WrestleMania 35 contains a number of potential show-stealers, and so don’t limit yourself to just betting on the top matches. There are many terrific opportunities for fans WWE betting in the mid-card.
Let’s take a look at some of the bigger ones heading into WWE’s biggest event of the year on April 7 and who is favored to win them.
What a year it has been for both Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Reigns battled his way back to WWE after a second leukemia diagnosis kept him out of the ring.
During the time away, McIntyre dominated with a successful run that included a decisive victory over Kurt Angle. It has been a decade since Vince McMahon dubbed McIntyre “The Chosen One,” and now it seems to be coming true.
However, Reigns looks to use WrestleMania to solidify a true comeback story.
Given the fact Reigns is coming back from his cancer battle, it’s hard not to think WWE won’t give “The Big Dog” a good win. The fans want to cheer this hero, especially on such a big platform.
Bet Reigns over McIntyre at -400 with 888Sport.
AJ Styles and Randy Orton have had a war of words over the last few weeks leading into their WrestleMania showdown.
There have also been a number of impressive RKO 'outta nowhere' maneuvers by Orton.
It’s almost a clash of classes being put into the foundation of the story, with Orton as the golden generational performer presented with opportunities to succeed in WWE.
Styles worked his way from the independent scene such as Ring of Honor, TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling on his journey to where he is today.
In the end, this could go either way but I’m going against the favored victor, with Styles defeating Orton once and for all.
The odds, though, call for you to bet Orton over Styles at -175 with Betway.
When Baron Corbin was chosen as Kurt Angle’s final opponent after a WWE Hall of Fame career, most thought the Olympic champion deserved better.
Not that Corbin isn’t a capable performer. However, many fans hoped it would be a John Cena for nostalgic reasons.
It does make sense, however, to have Corbin in there since he essentially cost Angle his job as the Raw general manager.
It would be quite the 'feather in the cap' of the emerging Corbin to defeat Angle. Stranger things have happened in WWE for sure.
But the hope, want and odds point to the legendary athlete walking away with one more “W” in his column before riding off into the sunset.
Bet Angle over Corbin at -275 on Betway.
Even after the first time Shane McMahon and The Miz teamed up, there was the sense the other shoe would drop.
Then it happened minutes removed from the two losing the SmackDown Tag Team Championship to the Usos.
McMahon attacked Miz and his dad, who watched in disbelief ringside at the Fastlane event in March.
This particular feud has escalated quickly, with Miz in unfamiliar territory as the hero ('babyface') of the story.
McMahon first competed at a WrestleMania around 20 years ago, facing X-Pac.
Since then, he has developed a reputation for putting his body on the line and doing everything and anything to awe audiences.
Expect much of the same from the daredevil, but in the end, Miz is the one who will continue being regularly active in the ring.
Therefore, the odds point to Miz getting revenge on McMahon. Bet on The Miz over McMahon at -400 on Betway.
