LeoVegas is a multi-award winning online casino, live casino and sportsbook with licences in the UK and Malta. LeoVegas Gaming PLC has its registered offices in Malta. It also acquired a Danish Gambling Authority licence in 2016.
The company was set up in Sweden in 2011 with a view to launching a pioneering mobile casino. A year later LeoVegas hit the App Store and remains one of the best native mobile apps around. While LeoVegas has since built up an established online client, it's still best-known for its mobile software.
LeoVegas spreads around 1,700 games (1,000 on mobile) including slots, roulette and blackjack. It also has a live casino powered by Evolution Gaming, plus a full sportsbook.
LeoVegas added a sportsbook to its operation in 2016 just as the Euro 2016 football competition was starting. It acquired its Danish gaming licence the same year.
The strength of the LeoVegas brand lies in its native app. There is a dedicated download app for both iPhone and Android devices. The iPhone casino app allows players to use Touch ID to log in. The app was won numerous awards over the years, including: two EGR awards for innovation.
LeoVegas has also blazed a trail over the years by awarding huge prize payouts. It broke the world record for a mobile slot jackpot win back in 2015 when one lucky player took down €5.6 million on NetEnt's Mega Fortune. But players have won several six-figure progressive jackpots since then.
LeoVegas is available to players in the UK, Canada and many European countries. It has a comprehensive list of restricted countries, however, including Italy, the United States, and Australia.
The LeoVegas app contains several hundred slots and table games at a wide range of stakes. The online site has a wider selection, around 1,600-1,700 in total, and new games are added all the time. LeoVegas has deals with several software platforms including big hitters like NetEnt, Yggdrasil and Microgaming, and in 2019 signed a deal with ORYX to supply their portfolio of slots and games.
The LeoVegas mobile app contains around 400-500 video slots including games from smaller game developers like NoLimit City. Around 1,500 slots can be played for real money on the browser-based desktop client. Some slots are exclusively available only at LeoVegas.
Players can access over 40 table games, including NetEnt's blackjack games and European Roulette. Stakes range from C$0.10-C$1,000 for LeoVegas's own branded roulette game, up to C$5,000 a hand in LeoVegas Blackjack.
Evolution Gaming and Authentic Gaming power the live casino lobby at LeoVegas. Players can choose from 40 game variants, including Immersive Roulette and Lightning Dice. There is also a VIP area - Chambre Sépareé - with 16 high-stakes tables. Some live casino games feature exclusive LeoVegas branding and features.
LeoVegas has over 20 instant win and bingo games. Leo Bingo is an exclusive scratchcard by GameVy with a C$5 max bet. Virtual Racing by LEAP Gaming is a nice addition to the lobby, as is Barcrest's Rainbow Riches Leapin' Leprechauns scratchie.
