NFL Four-Team Parlay Best Bet to Consider Backing Week 11

NFL Four-Team Parlay Best Bet to Consider Backing Week 11

Quick Tip:

Most of the headlines in Week 11 are focused on the Kansas City Chiefs-Los Angeles Rams showdown and the fact that the game had to be moved from Mexico City to California.

Although we’re looking forward to that matchup, we’ve left it out of our parlay picks of the week for NFL betting fans to consider.

Pick #1: Carolina Panthers (-200) at Detroit Lions

The Lions only tend to win when they’re able to run the football but this doesn’t look like a good spot for them to have success in that realm. The Panthers are ninth in the NFL in rushing defense, allowing just 99.0 per game. The Lions have 501 rushing yards in their three wins this season. They have a total of 409 in their six losses.

The same matchup on the other side looks like a bad matchup for Detroit. The Panthers are tied for third in the league with 5.1 rushing yards per attempt and average 138.4 rushing yards per game. The Lions are 28th in the NFL in terms of rushing yards allowed per game.

Beyond the stats, generally speaking, it looks like the Lions players don’t really like or want to work that hard for head coach Matt Patricia. They’ve lost three straight and have looked fairly listless in the process.

The Panthers will have had 10 days to prepare for this game and should take care of business. Take Carolina -200 at 888Sport.

Pick #2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants (O/U 52)

We’re looking at a total of 52 in this contest and I like the over in this situation. The Bucs are coming off a game where they scored a season-low three points. However, that was mostly because of four turnovers – several in the red zone – and a couple of missed field goals. They still managed over 500 yards of offense.

I’m not as worried about turnovers this week as the Giants are second-last in the NFL with just 10 sacks. Ryan Fitzpatrick should have more time to function.

As for the Giants, they should find some offensive success for a second straight week as they’ll be up against what is arguably the worst defense in the NFL. And that awful defense just lost starting linebacker Lavonte David, so that won’t help their cause.

Prior to last week’s 16-3 result, the lowest combined score in a Bucs game on the season was 48 points. Bet the over with 888Sport.

Pick #3: Pittsburgh Steelers (-230) at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Steelers have had this game circled since the offseason and I fully expect them to take care of business in this spot. The Steelers lost to the Jaguars in the playoffs last year in a shocking.

The Steelers felt like they were a shoe-in to go to the AFC Championship Game but lost at home. It was actually the second time last year that the Steelers lost to Jacksonville; Ben Roethlisberger threw five interceptions in Week 5 in a 30-9 loss.

The difference this time around is the Jags are struggling mightily. They are 3-6 and have lost five in a row. Their offense has mostly been a no-show of late, averaging just 11.5 points per game over their last four. As for the Steelers, they’re about as hot as can be. They’ve won five straight games.

At the end of the day, I can’t see the Steelers losing in this spot – especially with 10 days to prepare. Take Pittsburgh -230 at 888Sport.

Pick #4: Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals (-5)

This iteration of the Oakland Raiders looks like they’re dead in the water. That should be the main difference in this game as the Cardinals are still rallying and trying to support rookie starter Josh Rosen. The Raiders have completely packed it in.

Oakland is coming off their second straight contest where they scored six points or less. Scoring could be an issue again this week as the offense, which is already without Marshawn Lynch, will also be missing Jordy Nelson and Martavis Bryant.

That means we’ll see practice squad players in the lineup. And on defense, the team has just eight sacks on the year. That means Rosen should have more time to work with than he’s had in most games.

Outside of the blowout loss to Denver, Arizona has been decent over the last month. It beat San Francisco twice, lost by 10 at Minnesota and were down just six points in the third quarter at Kansas City last week. The Cardinals are fighting.

And it’s good to see David Johnson playing well as he has surpassed the 100-yard mark in two straight games. The bottom line is the Raiders have quit but the Cards have not. Lay the points and bet Arizona -5 at 888Sport.
