As online sports betting in the U.S. continues to roll out at an exponential pace, Europe remains a key market of focus for the Group, which is experiencing a period of exciting growth on both sides of the Atlantic.

As we scale, we are looking for a Technical Accountant to join the team.

Role description and duties:

  • Period-end processes at the Group level (including preparation of consolidated accounts of the Group on monthly/quarterly/annually basis; review of controls over FRCP etc)
  • Resolving of accounting matters and preparation of technical accounting memos and policies to enhance the Group’s controls and workflows
  • Liaising with auditors and external consultants
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller

Requirements

Essential professional experience

  • University degree in economics/ finance/accounting or/and ACCA qualified
  • Audit experience 3+ years with BIG4 companies with senior role experience
  • Experience in SOX compliance is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Comfortable user of MS office tools; and finance tools (knowledge of NetSuite is an asset)
  • Strong work ethic with a passion for financial analysis and reporting
  • Comfortable working with big volume of information and data
