Gambling.com Group Plc is a multi-award-winning provider of digital marketing services for the global online gambling industry. The Group publishes informational portals that offer comparisons and reviews of regulated online gambling websites around the world. Gambling.com Group is a media company and does not offer actual gambling services but helps iGaming operators acquire players.
The Group has nearly 50 different web portals which all publish independent reviews of the iGaming industry's best operators with each review written by the Group’s award-winning team of industry experts. In addition to the Group’s flagship website Gambling.com, it operates sites such as Bookies.com and the CasinoSource series of portals, among others. Gambling.com Group’s largest markets are the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States.

The Senior SEO Director will be a leader within the SEO team who will be responsible for growing a portfolio of websites in one of the fastest growing industries of online gaming and gambling. You’ll provide the strategic development and critical execution of organic search performance while working closely with content, product, web development and senior leadership. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and evaluating the SEO landscape to identify key opportunities to drive meaningful traffic and growth
  • Providing opportunity analysis gaps and keyword, market, and competitive research to identify strategic decisions on content, optimizations, and testing
  • Pushing forward on up to date SEO best practices, algorithm shifts and industry to provide critical direction on content and website plan
  • Being proactive in recommendations and execution on technical SEO optimizations to drive results including (website architecture, content, linking)
  • Aligning and working closely with content, product, and development teams towards overall goals
  • Following-through with development of the team on critical SEO optimizations are implemented successfully
  • Consistently tracking and reporting SEO performance. Ability to go beyond surface level into deeper analysis and rigor of key drivers of performance
  • Building and executing optimal link building strategy to grow SEO footprint and authority
  • Playing a critical role across potential M&A evaluation and integrations of acquisitions
  • Recruiting, leading, and developing a core team through exceptional leadership, SEO expertise, and development of team members

Requirements

  • 7+ years SEO experience and execution
  • Cross-functional experience, as this person will have SEO influence across multiple teams in the organization
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills-the ability to work with others as well as the confidence and skill to communicate ideas independently
  • Leading expert in SEO industry and evolving landscape
  • Proven track record of driving results through increasing traffic, improving brand, and site visibility through key analysis of opportunities and execution
  • Ability to effectively identify technical site opportunities, and properly prioritize within cross-functional teams for best outcome
  • Proven history of successful SEO strategy creation and implementation
  • Strong data driven thinking to problem solve to tie data to core decision making and growth of SEO traffic
  • Results driven with strong business acumen
  • Strong understanding of conversion funnel and customer acquisition from search intent to conversion; including how to optimize the funnel for growth
  • In-depth expertise in SEO tools including (Google Analytics, Google Search, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation for results
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Strong communication skills of priorities and collaboration across cross-functional teams
