Location: Charlotte, NC or Remote (If Remote must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours)

As our site operations specialist, you will take ownership of ensuring the excellence of our websites. You will be responsible for working closely with our development and publishing team to ensure the accuracy of the website. This role will be critical to the product team in order to identify data bugs, publishing errors, and create a bug free user experience.  As Web Operations Specialist your will be responsible for:

  • Publishing - assisting with large releases, publish block notifications, solving data source issues
  • Assist editors to ensure content is configured correctly - HTML tags, links, images, videos
  • Onboarding - support CMS training and website understanding
  • Liaise with internal users to educate on upcoming feature releases before they go live - components, redirects
  • Documentation - Provide detailed guides and tutorials for editors on key processes
  • Tag implementation and management
  • Guarantee smooth bug free user experience
  • Incident management and follow up
  • Monitor data feeds and react to errors

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in quality assurance
  • Experience in agile team environment
  • Strong testing experience with ability to apply different testing methodologies
  • Experience with reporting tools
  • Google tag manager and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Knowledge of PHP
