Grosvenor Sport is an online sportsbook owned and operated by the Rank Group. It sits alongside a popular online casino and poker room, and players can move funds in and out of their sports account with ease.
Grosvenor is perhaps better known for its 50+ land-based casinos around the UK. However, its online sportsbook still has enough going for it that Grosvenor can make a good fist of competing with more established betting and casino sites.
Football, golf and horse racing markets are all available at Grosvenor Sport. But is there enough to warrant moving your bankroll from a larger site? Let's grab our betting slips and take a look.

New Grosvenor Sport customers can claim an interesting welcome bonus when they sign up.
The 100% Odds Boost bonus claims to be exclusive to Grosvenor Sport, and we admit we haven't seen anything like it at other sportsbooks. Choose a match or event in any sport and place a real money bet up to £10. The odds will instantly be doubled.
We liked the offer as it gives new customers more control over what matches they can select. Some sites offer an enhanced odds promotion for new sign-ups. These are good but they tend to carry a heavy wagering requirement. There is no such requirement with Grosvenor Sport's welcome bonus.
We found the registration process at Grosvenor Sport to be simple and straightforward.
You will need to create a username and unique password to get started. You'll also need to provide a home address, mobile number, and email address. If you already have a Grosvenor Poker or Grosvenor online casino account, you can access Grosvenor Sport through the casino site without creating new log-in details.
Upon signing up, you can opt to log in to your account using a username and password or your Grosvenor Casino membership card number, if you have one.
You also have the option to immediately set deposit limits and sessions once you have completed the registration process.
Making a deposit at Grosvenor Sport is simple, and money will usually appear in your account right away.
Minimum deposits are set at £5, regardless of your banking method. There are no fees attached.
Valid deposit methods include popular cards like VISA and MasterCard, but you can also now use VISA Checkout with added security. PayPal is now the only recognised e-Wallet accepted at Grosvenor Sport.
Withdrawals tend to take 2-5 working days but we generally found that 3-4 days was more usual. Verification may be needed if you are withdrawing for the first time.

Desktop: Grosvenor Sport recently underwent an overhaul. A simpler and sleeker interface has come in, where your account and markets are all easy to find.
You can access your account through the Grosvenor Casino site. You'll find 'Sport' in a tab alongside table games, poker, and slots. Quicklinks are provided to get you to your current bets and sport offers in no time.
You can also view any matches or contests that are due to take place imminently. Follow the 'Starting Soon' link to view all available sports and markets.
Sports are displayed under two separate lists: Popular markets and all available sports. Inevitably, football dominates, but the list clearly displays the total number of bets and markets for each sport. You will also find a handy free online bet calculator on the homepage at Grosvenor Sport.
Mobile: The Grosvenor Sport site is available using the instant-play client. There is no need to download an app, so you can access available markets using your Apple or Android browser. Log-in is available using Touch ID and Face ID if you have the right device.
Even on a small Samsung J3 we found the lobby to be easy to navigate. The search box lets you hunt for sports, leagues or teams to save time. The drop-down menu is virtually identical to the one on the desktop client and lists 'Live Right Now' markets, current sport offers, and a full list of available sports.
You can also get to the Cashier easily by tapping the 'Deposit' button that sits permanently on your game screen. There are set deposit amounts of £20, £50 and £100, which can be selected using the tap buttons.
Grosvenor Sport offers markets on sports as diverse as football, horse racing, golf and motor racing. US sports are well-represented too, especially ice hockey with over 10,000 bets running at any one time.
You can sort markets by 'League' or 'Time'. Selecting 'Time' will show all available markets for the next day and beyond. Virtually all games have detailed stats, supplied by sports data leaders, Sportradar.
Football/Soccer: Football is by some way the most popular sport for betting on Grosvenor Sport. When we reviewed the site, there were over 80,000 bets running on matches as far afield as Botswana, England and Brazil.
There is a clear A-Z of countries, but you can also quickly view 'live and upcoming' games, or head straight to Outrights for big ante-post bets. Pre-match stats are displayed for every upcoming game, but you can also view historic stats on match-ups via an external link.
The Bet Builder option is available for most football matches. This new feature lets you compile your own accumulator bet.
Horse Racing: Horse racing is a big feature at Grosvenor Sport. You can also take advantage of live streams on many UK and Irish races.
Daily meetings are grouped together in one tab. There is also a selection of ante-post markets on big meets like the Grand National. Ante-post bets are taken on races in France, the USA, and South Africa.
Races give you the option of taking a price or selecting the Starting Price (SP). You can also toggle the display to show details like form and previous odds.
Tennis: Outright and match betting is available on most tennis matches. Grand slam outrights are available throughout the year.
Tennis match betting includes handicaps, match results and total games. We found around 20-25 possible bets on a typical ATP or WTA match. However, smaller Challenger matches can also be wagered on.
Golf: PGA Tour and European Tour are among the markets for golf punters at Grosvenor Sport. But there are over 200 markets on tours like the Ladies European Tour and European Seniors Tour. Outright winners for tournaments a year away can also be selected.
Darts: Darts is a popular sport for betting at Grosvenor Sport. The World Grand Prix and PDC World Championship carry live and outright betting. You can also bet on other markets like winning sets.
Other sports: Grosvenor Sport has a full range of alternative sports to bet on. US sports are well-represented and include American Football, with over 1,400 bets available at any one time.
Curiously, ice hockey offers over 10,000 bets in leagues stretching from Austria and the Czech Republic to Russia and the NHL in America and Canada. Live In-Play betting is allowed on the majority of games, and each match has over 150 separate bets.
Specials: Some novelty betting is available at Grosvenor Sport. Outright bets cover big UK and US TV shows and reality programmes. Politics offers a spread of markets including general elections and the next US president.
Odds on all markets are available in Fractional format at Grosvenor Sport. However, you can change to Decimal or American via the Settings tab on the homepage. You also have the option to change odds formatting on your slip during in-play betting.
The spread of odds is comparable with other leading online bookmakers. We didn't find too many odds-on favourites that were wildly out of sync with what other providers were offering.
Football/Soccer features: You can skip straight to most big football markets at Grosvenor Sport by following the 'Popular' tab. This usually lists the day's Premier League and Championship games, as well as La Liga and Bundesliga matches.
You can also pick games by time. Listings are provided for every hour of the day so you don't miss a match. Full stats and heads-up history are provided on-site. You can also toggle between Fractional and decimal odds.
Annoyingly, we weren't able to place bets on a Friday for the next day's Premier League games. These weren't displayed on-site until much nearer kick-off time.
Horse Racing features: Best Odds Guaranteed is the biggest plus about betting on horse racing at Grosvenor Sport.
If the SP is higher than the odds when you made the bet, the SP will automatically be selected as the price.
For all races, you can turn the 'Details' toggle on or off. This displays the form, age, and trainer of the horse, as well as all previous odds in that race.
Cash Out: Grosvenor Sport offers Cash Out and Partial Cash Out services on its site for selected games. You can settle your bet early and lock in a profit.
Making Bets: Once you place a bet it will appear on a pop-up betting slip immediately. There's no need to click away to a separate slip. As soon as you pick one or more results, you will see three tabs open up: Singles, Accumulator, and Multiples.
The Accumulator option simply gives you the price for all results coming in at once. The 'Multiples' tab displays all available doubles, trebles, trixies, etc for your selections. Stakes have to be entered manually, however. There is no quick pick option to select your stake amount.
Bet Builder: The Bet Builder function is new to Grosvenor Sport but a common sight at most leading sportsbooks.
The Bet Builder lets you create your own customised accumulator by selecting various outcomes on a game. These might include Total Goals, Correct Score, and Last Goalscorer.
Live Streaming: Grosvenor Sport features live streaming on all UK and Irish horse races. You will have to bet at least £1 to access the race viewer, but there are over 70 UK and Ireland racetracks to pick from. You can also follow live greyhound racing from a dozen UK tracks.
Live Betting/In-Running: Grosvenor Sport has an easy-to-navigate In-Play betting area on the site. Just look for the 'Live Right Now' tab in the menu. Markets are divided by sport (football, cricket, rugby, etc), but you can also add sports to your own Favourites list.
As an example, we found an In-Play market running on a live FFA Cup game from Australia. Full Time, Total Goals, and Next Goal were among the popular markets.
In-Play matches also have a cool graphic visualizer from Sportradar that displays current stats like Shots on Target, Attacks, and No. of Dangerous Attacks. In all, there were around 30-40 markets running on any one live football match.
In-Play betting is also available on some more niche sports like pool, volleyball, and e-Sports.
VIP Program: Grosvenor Sport doesn't run a specific VIP program for sportsbook customers. However, there are invitation-only promotions offered to sports bettors depending on their level of activity.
Grosvenor has plenty of promotions geared towards its casino customers, but sports gamblers seem to lose out.
For example, the new Grosvenor One card can be used to store cash earned online and in-casino. You can also withdraw online winnings from your card when in your local Grosvenor. However, the Grosvenor One card isn't currently available for sportsbook.
Hunt carefully, though, and you will find one or two interesting offers.
Best Odds Guaranteed: Like most good sportsbooks, Grosvenor Sport offers 'Best Odds Guaranteed' on all horse races. Take a bet at a set price, and if the starting price is higher, that will apply.
Grosvenor Goals: Grosvenor Goals is the site's £1 million fantasy football contest. It's free to play and the prizes are impressive.
In the game, you pick one player from 10 selected games during the 2019/20 season. You win a £10 free bet if three or more of your players score first. You win £10,000 if all your players score anytime. However, you will bag a £1m top prize if all your players score first in their matches.
VAR Bonus: Exclusive to Grosvenor Sport, and available for the football season 2019-20, is the Video Assisted Refunds promotion.
The VAR offer is for football bets only. You win a cash refund up to £50 if your goalscorer bet is ruined by a VAR (Video Assistant Referee) decision. The promotion is for English Premier League and UEFA Champions League matches only.
Get On With Grosvenor Sport: One final ongoing bonus is reserved for Grosvenor Sport racing punters. In the Get On With Grosvenor Sport promotion, you can win at least £1,000 on any televised race on ITV.
Grosvenor Sport offers live chat, phone and email support. You can access the customer support using your sportsbook or casino account.
Live chat is available 24/7 and we found that the queues were short and the 'Customer Champions' helpful. You can also access a phoneline (8am until midnight) if you live in the United Kingdom.
Grosvenor Sport is part of the UK-licensed Rank Group and is hot on its responsible gambling duties.
Daily, weekly, and monthly deposit limits can be set as soon as you open a new account. These limits can also be adjusted and maintained when you're a regular customer.
We liked the 'Take a Break' function which allows you to set a temporary exclusion from the site. For more serious cases, complete self-exclusion can be requested. This can last anywhere from 24 hours up to six weeks. Regular 'Reality Checks' let you know how long you have been betting for.
Grosvenor Sport appears to have undergone a bit of a redesign, but in practice the sportsbook is just as easy to use as it ever was.
The main gripe is that there is no standalone sports betting site at Grosvenor. Rather, it simply sits alongside casino and poker in the lobby. This does mean, however, that you can use your sports betting winnings on slots and live dealer games if you want to.
The live streams are a real highlight of Grosvenor Sport's offering. And if you are a football gambler, there is a steady supply of regular promotions. Take a punt today with Grosvenor Sport.Visit Grosvenor Sports
